Our spontaneous side unleashed!

Our Favorite part-3 different laminates meet in on area!

o

Slowly but surely, We have finished about 65% of the space. It was tricky trying to move the furniture around-being 31 weeks pregnant, I wasn't as much help as I'd like to have been. Andre' honestly makes a great one-man show!

Saturday morning we woke up, excited for a 3 day weekend and for the extra time together. We had been contemplating replacing our flooring upstairs and within a few minutes Saturday morning, we made our decision, started ripping out the old flooring and headed to Costco.

Hip Hip Horray, 2012 is 1/12th underway!

We spent Christmas in Montana- 23 weeks pregnant (above); Wow, how much changes in 6 weeks- 29 weeks (below) and the double chin to prove it!We think we found a good deal. We bought 2 recliners for the price of one. I found the perfect furniture model-so willing to pose!
Baby shower in Frenchtown, Montana-very generous family and friends. Thank you!
Impossibly difficult puzzle that took weeks to put together-thank you Andre' for letting this monopolize our kitchen table for so long.
January 16th we celebrated 3 years of marriage. To celebrate we ate...meat at Rodizio Grill. Meat and love, what could go better together!?!
To get the 2 recliners, we rented this truck from Home Depot. What a bumpy adventure.

Christmas ornament fun!

Andre's cousin Lexi taught us how to make these at school the other day. I experimented a little more at home this week. These ornaments made a fun addition to our tree. They are made using pipe cleaners, dipped in a solution of boiling water and borax soap (found it at WalMart next to the fabric softener).

http://www.pallensmith.com/articles/borax-crystal-ornaments has a good description of how to make them. I found it fun to expirament with colored pipe cleaners too!

Thanksgiving Break...too short!

Home improvements are keeping us busy-the basements walls are coming along

Andre promised that once Thanksgiving was over, we could put out Christmas decorations-I held him to that promise!

We're not into black Friday, but found a deal on this rocking chair-can't wait to use it with the baby!

About 17 weeks-Thanksgiving snacking has helped the stomach to grow quite a bit more over the last week! 1 1/2 more weeks until the gender ultrasound!

Where have we been?....in American Fork!

We closed on the house September 14th and moved in 2 weeks later. We've been here 1 month and feel like we've done a lot in this last month. We're realizing the "to-do" list will get done, just not as quickly as our brains want it to...our bodies can't move that fast! Here are a few pictures of the projects-they're not great, the camera lens doesn't zoom out far enough.

Basement- the majority of the things in this picture are gone except the 3 walls

Basement before- Now all that is there is the lonely stove

Front of the house back in September, some of the grass has come back since then

Living room after we painted & replaced the window treatments

Living room before

Installing a gutter in the backyard

Cleaning out the window wells- new basement windows will hopefully be here in the next week

Work is going well, the weather is getting colder, the house is coming along and the pregnancy is going slower than our excitement can handle. We're grateful for how blessed we are!

Oh Baby!

We're very excited about the big changes that will be taking place next spring as we become parents. Right now, it still doesn't feel completely real. We tried to get pregnant for what, at the time, seemed like a long time. We now realize this couldn't be happening at a better time!

Officially about 15 weeks, due around April 21st. From the ultrasound experience, we're pretty sure the baby is a dancer or is very effected by the sugar I've been eating lately-she/he was all over the place!

The babies head is the oval on the left and it's body is pointing right (at the very top of picture)
